Using Resource Finder Materials


When using the Resource Finder, please note any Copyright Restrictions.

The Resource Finder is filled with innovative materials created by SNAP-Ed providers, federal, state and local governments, organizations and businesses. While some resources and materials are copyright protected, many resources may be copied for use in nutrition education settings.


Any restrictions such as copyright protection are noted in the Resource Finder under "Use Restrictions."


The SNAP-Ed Connection asks that when adapting or editing any non-copyright protected materials, care be taken to remove the original developing entity or authors' branding, logos or other agency-identifying information found on the original resource.


Please include a credit line such as: "Adapted from Name of Original Resource, created by Name of Original Resource author/creator." For example "Adapted from Chef Charles Club, created by the Iowa Nutrition Network."


For questions on modifying or adapting a specific resource to fit your needs, please contact the individual or agency listed as "Developer" of that resource.

The Resource Finder is provided as a reference for nutrition educators. These resources are best used as part of a well-designed, evaluated program based on behavior change theory.


Using these materials does not mean that you will receive SNAP Funding for your program. State SNAP-Ed Programs should refer to the State Guidance for allowable activities. Inclusion on this list does not imply endorsement by the federal government.
