USDA. Food and Nutrition Service.

Cut and paste the wording in the files below directly into your own documents. For a full listing of required wording, refer to the SNAP Education Guidance (above).

                    • Non-discrimination Statement in English and Spanish

Materials developed with SNAP funds must include this nondiscrimination statement. There are no print size requirements if the full Civil Rights statement in the attached file is used. If the material is too small to permit the full statement to be included, the material must at a minimum include the statement:
[ENGLISH] "This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer."
[SPANISH] "USDA es un proveedor y empleador que ofrece oportunidad igual para todos."

                    • Outreach Statement in English and Spanish

A brief outreach message about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) must be provided on all newly developed or reprinted materials. FNS recommends the wording in this file for your program.

                    • Funding/Credit Statement in English and Spanish

Provide credit to SNAP as a funding source using the example provided in this file. A credit line must appear on newly developed and reprinted materials.
