- Nondiscrimination Statement in English and Spanish
Materials developed with SNAP-Ed funds must include this nondiscrimination statement. There are no print size requirements if the statement above is used. If the material is too small to permit the full statement to be included, the material must at a minimum include the statement, in print size no smaller than the text- English: "This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer."
- Spanish: “USDA es un proveedor y empleador que ofrece oportunidad igual
para todos.”
- Outreach Statement in English and Spanish
A brief outreach message about the SNAP should be provided on all newly
developed or reprinted materials, including materials for television, radio, and other media. The wording in this file is recommended.
- Funding Statement in English and Spanish
Credit shall be provided to the SNAP as a funding source on newly developed and reprinted materials. The statements in this file are recommended.
- Memorandum of Understanding Example (PDF|108KB)
The Guidance specifies that in cases when SNAP-Ed will be delivered in coordination with another agency (i.e., WIC, Department of Education, food bank, etc.), a MOU that clearly outlines the responsibilities of all parties should accompany the State SNAP-Ed Plan . This template example shows the basic components of an MOU, however, other sections may need to be added depending on the nature of the agreement and the parties involved." |
