Reviewers Comments: This material is a short booklet that contains brief activities that teens or adults could complete in small groups. The activities mainly focus on asking students to come up with answers on various food and nutrition topics such as breakfast, nutrition basics, protein, vitamins, and dairy. They are designed to take 5-10 minutes but could take longer. These activities could be used as an icebreaker or supplement for a nutrition class rather than stand-alone tools.

Each activity contains the subject area, activity, and directions. However, very few of the activities offer any sort of suggested answers, so the educator should have a background in nutrition. The activities are randomized but the table of contents puts the activities into categories, which is helpful if an educator wanted to focus on one topic or search for a specific activity. There are no recipes, nutrition facts, or assessment materials and possible answers are very open ended. Some potentially controversial topics, such as super foods, are included.
