Difficult terminology, such as the difference between chop, dice, julienne, and mice are explained and the techniques are demonstrated. Participants will learn how to chop a pepper and an onion. Then ordinary equipment is used to turn the chopped vegetables into a simple vegetable stir fry.
While this video will not teach participants to cook everything, it is a good introduction to some basic cooking skills. It would work well in a beginning cooking class for teenagers and adults.
