The word search includes foods that are strong sources of calcium and words that describe calcium's importance, such as "strong" and "bones". When used as part of a class session, each word and its relevance to the lesson can be reviewed. It may also be used as homework or additional reinforcement after a lesson. The puzzle would not be useful as a stand alone teaching tool. The word search includes words spelled horizontally and vertically and is moderately easy level to complete. It can be used with children in grades three and higher and some adult groups. An answer sheet is included. |
