Reviewers Comments: This comprehensive book discusses all aspects of nutrition for older adults. Chapters include nutritional status and assessment, aggressive nutrition interventions, drug nutrient effects, health promotion, secondary and tertiary disease prevention and management, and nutrition services for older adults. The book is written on a professional level, and may contain complex terminology difficult for those who do not have a background in nutrition. Each chapter includes a list of references at the end. Because of the breadth of information contained and the succinct way it is written, this is a great reference book for those interested in learning about geriatric nutrition.
